Cultural consultancy for companies, large and small
My consultancy services provide orientation for private individuals, families, schools or businesses that are having trouble with the diversity under their roof. Creating fair living and working space for yourself and for others is sometimes a tough business; I offer myself as a cultural referee. As a didactician with a BA in Philology, I promote cross cultural communication by honoring different types of intelligence and provide tailor-made processes to achieve goals that my clients and I have set together.
My consulting services begin with a chat. Together, we identify the problem, determine which cultural spheres are affected, set goals then undergo a process for change. This work is deep, personal and recommended for people who want change, but don’t know how to bring it. I am here to help you develop tailor-made strategies for your situation, then implement steps which serve your goals and inform you on how to sustain these changes.
In Berlin it is easy to feel rich, culturally speaking; culture is easily accessible. Studying History Didactics at Berlin’s Freie Universität revolutionized my approach towards accessing culture. I have spent the last decade cultivating cultural techniques and diversity activities that help people to navigate through the complex yet enriching cultural spheres of everyday life.
CULTURAL TRAINING WORKSHOPS
Teaching cultural fluency to conscious global citizens
My methodology complies with the goals of intercultural negotiation as set by the European Council of Education and my workshops are centered around those core competencies. Independent from the main topic or context, most of my seminars include the development of reflexion skills, various learning strategies and diversity activities, empathy, ambiguity tolerance, I-narrative, and role distance as well as furthering other consciousness skills. I’ve worked in classrooms, universities, individual tutorship, with refugees, as well as teaching various artistically based workshops all over Germany.
My workshops aim to advance specific skill sets for reflection, recognition, authentic expression, option identification and solution application. My most popular workshop topic involves consciousness skills which are a bit like apps for the human mind. These are skill sets which offer access to different parts of your own mind and other ways of thinking. These “Mind Apps” aid you in making conscious cultural decisions which are right for you. Since rewiring habits and gaining insights into a new cultural practice takes a time to digest, some of my more intensive workshops take place over a few days. Whether for a few hours or a few days, I’m available to guide you every step of the way.
